SWEET TOOTH
By
Another Wonderfully Talented Banoak Student

|
O nce upon a time there was a very rich farmer who had two children. The boy was named Derek and the girl was named Kapunzol. Derek and Kapunzol each had a very sweet tooth. Although their mom and dad gave them many sweet things, they always wanted more and dreamed of finding the mysterious "Candy House" from the fairy tale they heard from their grandparents. |
|
The fairy tale is that a Warlock made a house with many kinds of candy. But if one ate from it, he or she would have to exit the fairyland forest before sundown or a terrible spell would take place. Well, Derek and Kapunzol decided to find the candy house hidden in the fairyland forest. So they packed a lunch of many sweets for their journey. As they searched, they dropped candies along the way so they could find the way back home. Around midday they stumbled into the dark forest and saw a house so very sweet looking. They could not resist and nibbled on the outside and feasted on candies in the inside. They became so full that they had to take a nap. |

When they woke up it was becoming dark and they began to search for the candy trail back home. But the forest animals had eaten the sweets they left behind. The spell was soon to take effect. Darkness fell and the spell changed Derek and Kapunzol into something sweet to eat. The Warlock arrived home and found that the spell had given him something for his sweet tooth, and as he ate he mumbled, |
"
One should be happy with what he has."THE END
