If you have ever seen the sunrise at the beach,
it is beautiful. If you get up at dawn, you will have to wait a while
before the sun slowly comes up over the horizon. The sun comes up like a
giant carrying a torch up the stairs.
There are mixed colors in the sky -
a little bit of blue, orange, yellow, purple, and bright pink. It looks as
if a giant put an orange ball in a picture and put some pretty colors here
and there to make a lovely scene. Very slowly the colors begin to fade,
signaling morning is close by. The sun slowly rises into the color fading
sky. As the sun rises it turns yellow.
The ocean slowly turns its greenish-blue color. The waves take back their
foamy look. If you look far
off into the ocean where the waves are tiny, the waves look like pure
clean white crystals floating on the water.
Slowly the sun picks up its
brightness and yellow color. The fluffy white clouds appear suddenly.
That’s about the time you wake up because it is not dark anymore; it is
daytime with light all around which is trying to get into your eyes. The end of sunrise is the beginning
of morning, and people all over the country are waking up to a brand new
day with no mistakes so far.
