- August 19-22, 2008 - Faculty training – Research Paper and Project Guidelines
- August 25, 2008 - Advisors assigned to all members of the Pilot Class
- August 29, 2008 - Deadline for Letter of Intent Documents – Fall English 3 classes only
- September 3, 2008 - School committee meets (PM) to review
- September 4, 2008 - Project approved/rejected distributed to students
- September 5, 2008 - Student declares mentor
- September 15, 2008 - Mentor Training St. Stephens, Bandys
- September 16, 2008 - Mentor Training Maiden, Foard, Bunker Hill
- September 22 - 26, 2008 - Notification mentor approval – Student starts Product hours
- December 5, 2008 - Portfolio due
- December 8-9, 2008 - Training for judges (9th will be prior to Boards)
- December 9-11, 2008 - Senior Boards
- February 6, 2009 - Deadline for Letter of Intent documents – Spring English 3 classes only
Declaration of Mentor
- February 9, 2009 - School committee meets to review
- February 10, 2009 - Project approved/rejected distributed to students
- February 16, 2009 - Mentor training Saint Stephens, Bandys
- February 19, 2009 - Mentor training Maiden, Foard, Bunker Hill
- Upon notification of mentor approval, student starts
Product hours.
*Student may not work with mentor until the mentor has been approved.
- May 15, 2009 - Portfolio due
- May 19-21, 2009 - Senior Boards
Training for judges will take place prior to presentations.
Pilot Modifications
Paper: 3 to 5 pages
Product: 5 hours minimum
Portfolio: No Change
Presentation: 5 minutes minimum
