Child Nutrition
"Feeding The Future One Child At A Time"

Many of you have heard about the Salmonella outbreak concerning peanut butter.  Catawba County Schools, Child Nutrition is NOT apart of this recall.  We receive USDA commodity Peanut Butter which is not involved in this outbreak; nor is the peanut butter we purchase from our supplier US Foodservice Fort Mill.

We do not purchase any peanut butter crackers in the school cafeterias.

As always, proper food safety practices includes hand washing to help reduce the spread of food borne illness.
