Create a 3-D model of our solar system including our star (the sun) and all planets.  Please label each planet.  This project will be worth 250 points with up to 50 bonus points being given for originality, for up to a total of 300 points.  You can see some of last year's projects on my class web page, if needed.  Please help your student with his or her project, but don’t do it all for them-otherwise it will be your model & not theirs. This project will be displayed during the school Astronomy Night.  The project will be due on Friday, March 7th.  Please make plans to help your child bring their project and collect it after Astronomy Night.  (Students are not allowed to transport large projects on buses.)  If you have any questions, please feel free to call.     Mrs. Taylor
