The Bunker Hill Marching Band competed at
the Foard Classic Saturday, October 25, held at Fred T. Foard High
School and did an AWESOME job! Their ratings are as follows:
2nd Place Color Guard
2nd Place Marching and Movement
3rd Place in Class 4A with a SUPERIOR
rating (!)
As a band, they finished 6th out of 21
bands at the Foard Classic
That is their 2nd Superior rating this
season, which is the highest you can receive. The students are
really doing well and will be working hard this week for their final
competition at Newton Conover on Saturday, November 1.

The Bunker Hill Marching Band got two opportunities to perform on Saturday, October 4, at the South Caldwell Classic held at South Caldwell High School, Hudson, NC. The band performed in the preliminary round and was awarded the following trophies: 2nd place drum major, 2nd place drumline, 1st place color guard, 1st place marching, 2nd place GE, and 2nd place music. After performing in the finals later that evening, the BHHS band finished 1st in their class and 5th in overall bands that day. Congratulations to Aaron Pannebaker, BHHS band director, and the entire Bunker Hill marching band. |
