A Thought from me to you!

Have a fun Filled Summer!

Have a safe, restful and wonderful Summer break!

The last four years I have thoroughly enjoyed designing the web pages and using my God given gift to hopefully convey a message of hope to you, my fellow teacher assistants. Never forget how important we truly are to the children in our county. Although we face bleak cuts ahead, not knowing where we will end up next year, never give up hope on our children. With God on their side, they will prevail, as we will as well. We are a strong force and together we can master anything we set our eyes too. Thank you for letting me be your webmaster and I hope you have enjoyed the pages throughout the years. For now I say farewell to this role knowing that being a teacher assistant is engrained in my heart. I have been truly blessed!

Thought for the month:

The grim budgets cuts can never and will never strip us of who we have become to our children here in this county! Their faces light up every morning because they know we truly care about them as humans and about their education. It will not be us who sells them short! Let us, against all diversity, bring to our children in Catawba County an excitement for education like never before, the few weeks we have left possibly with them! All children are capable of learning, with us by their side, they will achieve that! Never loose hope that you are making a difference in their lives! For we are the:

"The Teachers Assistants of Catawba County!"
