*Follow the directions below to completely analyze your group's story as a literary work.

1.  Read the story thoroughly twice.
2.  Organize your thoughts by using the chart.
3.  Review the literary terms list and analyze the THEME, MAJOR CONFLICT, and SETTING of your story.  Also, pick out FIVE other terms that apply to your group's story.
4. Go over your notes on our introduction to folktales, look for anything else that might apply to the story. Apply FIVE more concepts (taken from the introductory article) to your story.
5.  Create a handout that details your findings.  Be prepared to present your handout to the class.  You will be graded on the contents as well as the presentation of your handout.
